Batman: Dance of Death focuses on Bruce Wayne’s relationship with Jezebel Jet, the African supermodel and social activist with ties to the nefarious Black Glove organization. The main villain is Jervis Tetch (aka The Mad Hatter), the world-renowned fashion designer and socialite.

Thematically, the series lives in the yin-yang of id vs. ego: the conflict between living up to the mores of a society that celebrates fairness and order, and the desire to feed our base instincts of indulgence and excess.
